Motivations: I am inspired by love; it is the most powerful energy on the earth. It is the author of our creation. I've always loved to sing and have sang in talent shows choirs, and benefits much of my life, but I began taking my music seriously in 1983 after hearing Bob Marley for the first time. When I heard Bob Marley's music and lyrics I felt an immediate spiritual connection. It was music that felt good with an infectious sound and a profound message for the mind, body and spirit. Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind, and Fire, have all had a great influence on me as an artist because of their enlightening, insightful lyrics and varied musical expressions.
Career: Founder/Director Reginald J. Gibson Memorial, Foundation for Education; Spiritual Counselor, Author, Lyricist, Singer/Songwriter, Poetess, Educator, Motivational Speaker, Peace Activist, Ambassador for Peace, Ex. Producer and Host; Reggae, Culture, Rising Cable Music/Video Show, Dj; Culture Exchange Radio Show, MO State Coordinator, for "Million Woman March," 1997, Chairwoman 147th Chapter of the African American International Women's Federation for Peace and Progress, Chaplain of the Ethiopian World Federation Inc.
