"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of it children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron…" ~ Dwight D. Eisenhower, April 16, 1953

Overview: A man who loved good. For the love and truth he found in the good and shared that love and integrity with all who came into contact with him. 'Reggie' knew truth and lived it, spoke it and shared it with all, even those who resisted it. For he knew that the 'Spirit Of Truth' is the integrity of good.

The Foundation truly exemplifies the hope in humanity that my belated husband and dearest friend, Reginald J. Gibson had. He lived in word and deed the truest principles expounded upon in the foundation. As he lives through me, a seed of life was planted, that he may live also through those who will benefit from this effort to educate, enlighten and empower each one who walks through the door of our center; each one preparing to share in the challenge that may lay ahead.

As he knew truth, he also knew the salvation of education and the devastation of those that have fallen victims to mis-education, mis-information, leaving these victims unstable and unable to make their lives better. Therefore the foundation was designed specifically to assist the educationally and economically disadvantaged to improve their quality of life.

Mission: To fund and support 'Hiring The Heritage,' a career employment entrepreneurship youth training program that taps into their innate abilities, talents and skills and teaches them the individual discipline and how to market the same. Offers prerequisite workshops that assist in teaching behavior disciplines that add to the success and maintenance of these newly formed skills.

What is Hiring the Heritage? It is a youth career development, employment and entrepreneurship training program, designed to stimulate, educate, and cultivate our youths innate creative abilities. Teaching them to make these same abilities marketable as individual entrepreneurs or as quality employees.

It's purpose is to provide a mechanism to develop an individual competence that can be applied to any situation. Serving as a vital link between the current educational system and employment practices of the greater municipality.

RGMF will work with: school counselors, court officials, and community leaders who can identify those youth that can benefit from positive reinforcement and direction.

Our Goal: To work with talented and "non-talented achievers," in order to assist each with a firm new ground to grow into the bounty which the Almighty intended.

Hiring the Heritage: The name of this program is directly related to the heritage of humanity; those persons from all paths of life, who believe in our motto: Always remembering to help others and to help ourselves using the stepping stones toward progress for the "Summum Bonum," the highest good for one and for all.

Major Support: Major support for Hiring The Heritage comes in the form of fundraising events sponsored by RGMF offering: cultural information, educational stimulus, Ethnic Holiday family/community days.
